A 27-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after leading authorities on a chase in a stolen car.

Cheyenne police spokesman Officer David Inman says it all started around 4:10 p.m. when an off-duty detective noticed Robert Logan driving the wrong way on W. 19th Street.

"We attempted to stop the vehicle around 24th and Missile," said Inman.  "He wouldn't stop (and) they ended up outside the city limits."

Inman says Logan eventually rolled the car near Barrington Road and Burke Drive, and gave up after a brief foot chase.

"He got hit with a bunch of charges," said Inman.  "Driving under suspension, DUI, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, possession of an open container, hit-and-run, interference with a police officer and disregarding a one-way street."

As of Wednesday afternoon, Logan was still in the hospital awaiting a jail clearance.
