LCSD #2 Postpones Track Meet Due to Weather
Expected rain and thunderstorms have prompted Laramie County School District #2 to postpone the 4-6th grade track meet scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday).
"It has been rescheduled for next Monday at 9 a.m.," said Superintendent Jon Abrams.
Winter weather is set to make a return late Wednesday night and last through Friday.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a winter storm watch for the higher elevations of Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Arlington.
The snow may also accumulate at lower elevations on Thursday and Friday.
