Laramie County School District 2 Superintendent Jon Abrams says rumors about school closing at Thanksgiving and not opening up until after Christmas are not true.
Because all students and staff are now wearing masks, LCSD2 is now allowing parents to enter their children's schools and participate in their activities.
Eleven students at Carpenter Elementary and 72 students at Pine Bluffs Elementary have been quarantined after a staff member at each school tested positive for COVID-19.
All Laramie County School District #2 schools will be closed to students beginning Monday, March 16, through at least Friday, April 3, due to the coronavirus.
