A drive to make sure some Laramie County kids have enough to eat during the upcoming spring break is underway.

The drive is a cooperative effort between Cheyenne City Councilman Richard Johnson and the Cheyenne Element Church All 4 One Women's group.

The bags are for kids who may normally get fed at school but will miss out on those meals because of school not being in session. Johnson says over 800 kids in Laramie County School District#1, as well as Burns, will be fed by the program, assuming there are enough donations.

Food or cash donations can be dropped off at Element Church 600 E. Carlson Drive or any of the following locations:
