Knife Threat at Cheyenne Store Leads to Man’s Arrest
A Cheyenne Walmart employee is behind bars after allegedly threatening his co-worker with a knife.
Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says officers were called to the Walmart on Livingston Avenue around 2:30 a.m. this (Thursday) morning.
"When they arrived they found that two people had essentially been arguing and one of them went home, retrieved a knife, came back and threatened the other one with it," said Malatesta. "It looks like it took place in the break room."
Police arrested 21-year-old Chad Sanders on suspicion of aggravated assault with a knife.
When contacted about the incident, the store's assistant manager said "we have no comment" and hung up the phone.
