Visit Cheyenne is encouraging business owners to get ready for their close-up, as Truly360 -- a liaison for Google's vast array of products and services -- will be filming in the area Friday through Monday.

Darren Rudloff, President and CEO of Visit Cheyenne, says the company will be filming interactive 360 degree virtual tours of Laramie County's top attractions and updating Street View footage.

"Some parts of Cheyenne and Laramie County have not been filmed for 12 years," said Rudloff.  "This is a great opportunity to accurately film our new developments."

Rudloff says the Street View camera will be at the following locations:

  • Friday, June 28 -- Starting at 10 a.m. at the Wyoming State Capitol Building, coming down Capitol Avenue. The camera will film all of downtown from the Capitol to the Cheyenne Depot, along with parallel streets on both sides.
  • Saturday, June 29 -- Starting at 9 a.m. in Lions Park on the Greenway. The camera will film the 35 miles of Greenway trails.
  • Monday, July 1 -- Starting at 10 a.m. in downtown Pine Bluffs.

Other areas to be filmed include Curt Gowdy State Park, Laramie County Community College and the Archer Complex.
