Alleged Stalker on Laramie County’s ‘Most Wanted’ List Captured
A 52-year-old Cheyenne woman on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office's "Most Wanted" list has been captured.
According to a booking sheet, police were called to 4727 Village Ln. at about 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 for a possible wanted person.
Police contacted Brucene Renae Wilson, who they say had two confirmed Laramie County warrants, one for felony stalking and the other for failure to comply.
Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers signed both warrants on Sept. 4, 2024.
Agitated and Frantic
Police say Wilson appeared agitated and frantic, and made statements that didn't line up with events that were currently happening, saying "she didn't know how she got here."
Police say Wilson told them that she was in pain and her ribs were possibly broken.
They say she began to shake and fell to the floor, but remained coherent.
Wilson was taken by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where she was cleared for jail.
She was then taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where she was booked on her warrants.
