
Hit-and-Run Leads to Wanted Cheyenne Man’s Arrest
A wanted Cheyenne man was taken into custody after a hit-and-run near his home in northeast Cheyenne last weekend.
Police Called to Accident
According to a booking sheet, it all started around noon on Saturday, Jan. 25, after police were called to Camelot Court and King Arthur Way for an accident.

Police say when they arrived on the scene, the driver, 52-year-old Wayne Randall Clark, was no longer there.
Off to the Races
Police were able to locate Clark at the Horse Palace at 1802 Dell Range Blvd., Suite 3, and arrested him for duty to stop, a misdemeanor.
2 Felony Warrants
Police say Clark also had two felony warrants out of Laramie County, one for burglary signed by Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers on Dec. 23, 2024, and the other for failure to appear on an original charge of burglary signed by District Court Judge Catherine R. Rogers on Jan. 17, 2025.

Clark was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident and booked on the duty to stop charge as well as his warrants.
Circuit Court Appearance
On Monday, Jan. 27, Clark was seen in Circuit Court on the duty to stop charge and the burglary charge.
Bond was set at $1,000 cash in the hit-and-run case and $4,000 cash in the burglary case, and his arraignment and preliminary hearing were scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3 at 10:30 a.m.
