Cheyenne Man Charged With Burglary
A 52-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after reportedly burglarizing a storage unit in southwest Cheyenne.
According to a booking sheet, Wayne Randall Clark was arrested at Open Range Storage at 1500 Southwest Dr. at 3:57 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9.
Clark Arrested After Confessing to Burglary
The arresting Laramie County Sheriff's deputy says Clark admitted to entering the premises and burglarizing one of the units after an interview.
Clark was handcuffed and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked without incident.
Clark Charged With Burglary
Clark was subsequently charged with burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Clark made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday, Dec. 11, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 2:30 p.m.
