Cheyenne Man Charged With 4 Counts of Felony Forgery
A 32-year-old Cheyenne man is facing four felony charges after allegedly committing forgery.
Search Warrant Leads to Felony Forgery Charges
According to a booking sheet, Brandon Charles Aptaker was arrested at his home in the 3000 block of Dillon Avenue at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, after police knocked on his door and informed him they had a search warrant.
Aptaker was taken to the police department and then the Laramie County Detention Center for booking.
Aptaker was subsequently charged with four counts of forgery-making, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Aptaker Out on Bond After Posting $2K
Aptaker made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Friday, Nov. 15, during which his bond was set at $2,000 cash, which he later posted.
Aptaker is scheduled to be back in Circuit Court for his preliminary hearing on Friday, Nov. 22 at 11:15 a.m.
