A wanted Cheyenne woman is behind bars following a traffic stop in south Cheyenne.

According to a booking sheet, a police officer was patrolling the area of Parsley Boulevard and West 3rd Street at 3:33 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, when he noticed a tan Ford Explorer with a cracked windshield.

The officer says he was able to identify the driver as Kasey Worley and the front passenger as 35-year-old Diana Lynn Martinez due to the multiple encounters law enforcement officers have had with them and to conduct a traffic stop at West Jefferson Road and South Cribbon Avenue.

Because he believed Martinez had a warrant out of Laramie County, the officer asked her to exit the SUV.

He then ran her name through dispatch, and dispatch confirmed she had a warrant for burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee signed the warrant on June 3, 2024.

Martinez was arrested and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center where she underwent the booking process without incident.

She was seen in Circuit Court on Friday afternoon, June 7, during which her bond was set at $3,000 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 14 at 9 a.m
