A Not So Happy Father's Day
According to a booking sheet, Robert Lee Mauch Jr. was arrested at his home at 3675 Saddle Ridge Trail at 8:50 p.m. on Father's Day, June 16, after reportedly getting into a physical domestic with his daughter.
Mauch's daughter reportedly told the arresting deputy that her father punched her in the face and choked her for three seconds.
The deputy says she had bruising in the corner of her left eye and a red mark where she said her father punched her.
The deputy says Mauch, who was contacted at his home following the alleged incident, said he did not hit his daughter.
The deputy says Mauch had scratches on his arm and chest.

Mauch was subsequently charged with strangulation of a household member, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday morning, June 18.
His bond was set at $5,000 at 10%, which he posted following court, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 26 at 2:30 p.m.
