Cheyenne Woman Rescued by Deputies After Attempting Suicide
Three Laramie County Sheriff's Office deputies are being credited with saving the life of a Cheyenne woman who tried to kill herself.
Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Don Hollingshead says deputies Char Madden, Adrian Murray and Misty Brown found the 41-year-old hanging from her ceiling fan while responding to a possible suicide call this (Friday) afternoon.
"Deputy Murray picked the woman up to take tension off of the noose while deputies Brown and Madden cut her down," said Hollingshead.
"The woman was unresponsive and not breathing when they lowered her to the floor, but after deputies loosened the noose which had tightened around her throat she began to breathe on her own," Hollingshead added.
The woman was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for treatment and a mental evaluation.
