UPDATE: Blizzard Warning for Cheyenne Wednesday and Thursday
The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning in effect from Wednesday Morning until Thursday evening for an area of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle, that includes the city of Cheyenne.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
6 PM MDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Periods of Freezing Rain are expected to develop after
midnight and continue through mid morning Wednesday mainly in
the northern panhandle. The freezing rain will be followed by
blizzard conditions around mid morning and continue through
Thursday afternoon. Ice accumulations up to one quarter of an
inch expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 22 inches with
the higher amounts in the northern panhandle.
* WHERE...Most of Goshen and Laramie Counties in far southeast
Wyoming and the entire western Nebraska Panhandle.
* WHEN...From early Wednesday morning to 6 PM MDT Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. Should the freezing rain develop, there could be
widespread power outages especially when blizzard conditions
kick in. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
or evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive
damage to trees and power lines.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for areas of east-central Wyoming that includes Laramie.
