Cheyenne Stabbing Case Bound Over to District Court
A 23-year-old Cheyenne man accused of stabbing his brother has been bound over to Laramie County District Court.
According to court documents, Cheyenne Police were called to Elias Russell's home in the 1900 block of E. 18th Street around 3 a.m. on February 17.
Russell's brother told police that Elias started saying "satanic things" around midnight and that Elias stabbed him with a knife after he followed him into the kitchen.
The two men's juvenile brother told police that Elias said he had to "do something by dawn or he would burn in the lake of flames."
Russell has been charged with a single count of aggravated assault and battery and faces up to ten years in prison if convicted.
His arraignment has not yet been scheduled.
