Last week parts of southeast Wyoming were getting hit with snow.

This week, it's a heatwave, at least by Wyoming standards. The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service posted this statement on its website on Friday:

"Friday will be a warm one across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. Mid to upper 90s are likely in western Nebraska with mid 80s to mid 90s likely in southeast Wyoming. Make sure to stay hydrated during prolonged outdoor exposure."
