Cheyenne Man Faces Felony Charge After Knife Threat [GRAPHIC LANGUAGE]
A 21-year-old Cheyenne man accused of threatening a Walmart employee with a knife could face up to ten years in prison if convicted.
Cheyenne police were called to the Walmart on Livingston Avenue on March 30 after Chad Sanders-Weaver reportedly entered the break room and put a knife to Jacob Kirby's throat.
Court records say Sanders-Weaver told police that he was angry with Kirby for talking "shit" to his girlfriend, so he went home and got a five-inch SOG knife to threaten him.
Sanders-Weaver told police when he placed the knife under Kirby's jaw he told him, "Don't be a bitch, be a man, and quit talking shit behind my back."
Sanders-Weaver was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery-threatens with weapon.
Sanders-Weaver is being held in the Laramie County Jail on $5,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 7.
