Cheyenne ‘Guns And Hoses’ Blood Drive Starts Today

A blood drive organized by United Blood Services in recognition of Cheyenne first-responders gets underway today (Aug. 9) and will run through Thursday.

The ''Guns and Hoses" blood drive is scheduled to run from 1:30 until 5:30 p.m. today at the Cheyenne Frontier Mall near the food court.

It will continue on Thursday from 1:30 until 5:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center at 415 West 18th Street. Prizes will be awarded each hour and people are being urged to donate to support their favorite first-responder.

The Public Safety Building houses the Cheyenne Police Department and Cheyenne Fire&Rescue headquarters.
