Cheyenne Firefighters Team Up With Downtown Brewery For New Beer
The Cheyenne Firefighters have a new tool in their battle against muscular dystrophy. They're teaming up with Accomplice Beer Company for "Batch 279", a new brew to raise money for MDA.
Named in honor of their union Local 279, the limited-release beer will be unveiled at the inaugural Cheyenne Firefighters Chili Cook-off in the Depot Plaza on Saturday, October 13th. Accomplice brewmasters Victor Gabriel and Austin Griffin will be collaborating with local firefighters to create the beer this weekend.
“We are very excited that Accomplice will be teaming up with us for our first annual Chili Cook-off event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association,” Cheyenne Firefighter Derek Pollnow proudly proclaimed. “Each year, our community comes out and supports this long-standing annual tradition of filling the boot. Now, while continuing to help the MDA, we are excited to bring a great fall event for everyone to enjoy.”
We'll drink to that.
