New Restaurant Coming To Downtown Cheyenne
Work is underway on a location for a new restaurant in downtown Cheyenne, although the exact opening date is not yet known.
But a sign in the window of the former Capitol Cuisine site at 1720 Capitol Ave says a Hokkaido Ramen House Restaurant is "coming soon."
That location has been home to a number of eateries going back many years. The most recent was the Capitol Cuisine, which closed last year.
Hokkaido Has Two Kinds Of Restaurants
According to the Hokkaido website, the chain features two types of restaurants:
''The Ramen & Sushi Bar locations will be larger with more dine-in space and will also include a sushi bar as well as a beer, wine, and sake bar. The Ramen House will have a more limited but still incredible menu to choose from. Both restaurants will have the same recipes and the same positive vibe and a fresh, open, and unique Hokkaido-style dining room. Both styles of restaurants will also have amazing staffs with a priority on creating the safest dining.';
The Cheyenne restaurant will be a Ramen House, as opposed to the Ramen and Sushi Bar.
On a website listing Hokkaido menus, Cheyenne is listed. But when you click on the Cheyenne entry, there are no foods listed, but just a map showing the location of the Cheyenne outlet.
There is a menu listing for the Casper Hokkaido Ramen House.
