Cheyenne East Faces Big Test, Central and South At Home
The unbeaten Cheyenne East Thunderbirds will face their toughest test so far tonight when the visit Casper-Natrona high school in a battle of Class 4A football powers this evening.
Natrona (3-1) is ranked second in the latest Wyopreps.com poll while the Thunderbirds are #3. The game could be a low-scoring affair, as the T-birds are number one in Class 4A in total defense and scoring defense, while Natrona is #3 in total defense.
Meanwhile, Cheyenne Central (1-3) will try to win its second in a row as they host the Laramie Plainsmen (1-3). Central will be trying to avenge a 13-7 Laramie win in 2016. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Milt Riske Field.
The Cheyenne South Bison (0-4) will try to notch their first win of the season tonight as they host the #5 Rock Springs Tigers. The Bison will be out for revenge after getting blown out by the Tigers 60-28 in Rock Springs last year.
Gametime is 6 p.m. at Bison Stadium.
