Central Wyoming Rodeo Kicks off in Casper
The Central Wyoming PRCA Rodeo began on Tuesday night in Casper with a nice crowd on hand on opening night. The goal here is to qualify for the Saturday short-go so the top 12 from the week will make that Saturday show.
There were some accomplished cowboys that competed on Tuesday night, like Buffalo's Cole Reiner who placed 3rd at the National Finals Rodeo last season in the bareback. In the saddle bronc, a few members of the Wright clan from Utah were in the house. Spencer Wright was the 2-14 World Champion, Rusty Wright who has qualified for the NFR 5 times, and Statler Wright who is currently 6th in the world standings.
We have some great photos to share from Tuesday's performance in Casper, courtesy of Libby Ngo and they can be found in the gallery below. Plus, we have a video of Tuesday's bull riding, and qualified rides were few and far between. Enjoy!
