Arrest Made In Fort Collins For Sexual Assault Of Sleeping Woman

A 22-year-old man is facing sexual assault and burglary charges after being arrested in Larimer County for sexually assaulting a woman who was asleep in her Fort Collins home.

According to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page, a woman called police at just after 2 a.m. on Sept. 7 to report that a man she didn't know had entered her home and sexually assaulted her.

A search of the area soon turned up a suspect, 22-year-old Tanner Cook. According to the post, Cook faces Burglary and Sexual assault charges in connection with the incident.
