Wyoming’s “Youngest” Town
Which Wyoming community do you think has the youngest residents?
I don't think the correct answer will surprise many: It's Laramie.
According to Business Insider, The Gem City is the state's most youthful. It is home to the state's only 4-year University and Division 1 college program. While towns like Jackson, Cheyenne, and Casper all have a handful of youngsters, Laramie dominates the 20-somethings scene.
The average median age of Laramie residents is just 25.1 years old!
In a regional note, I found it interesting that Fort Carson, Colorado's average age is 21.8! What's going on in Fort Carson!?
