
Two Feet Of Snow, 65 MPH Winds Possible In SE Wyoming Mountains
Winter Storm Warnings have been posted for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range Mountains of southeast Wyoming, with 1 to 2 feet of snow possible over the next few days, Winds could also gust as high as 65 miles per hour.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website: "A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges tonight through early Sunday morning. A prolonged snow event will lead to 1 to 2 feet of snowfall accumulation in the mountains. Strong winds are also expected which will lead to blowing snow and reduced visibility."
