Wyoming Secretary Of State Chuck Gray has announced a run for Wyoming's lone U.S. House seat.

The seat is currently held by Rep. Harriet Hageman, who like Gray is a Republican. Hageman recently announced she will run for the U.S. Senate seat held by Cynthia Lummis. Lummis recently announced she will not run for another term.

Television commercials touting Gray's support for election integrity legislation have been widely aired in Wyoming recently, and were run numerous times during Sunday NFL games on December 28. Those ads did not specify that he was running for office, however.

His  congressional campaign website says of his campaign "Chuck Gray is a proven America First conservative with a consistent record of defending Wyoming values and standing with President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. Raised with a deep respect for America, Chuck believes public office is a trust—not a privilege—and that elected officials are accountable to the people they serve."

It also emphasizes a strong-pro-life stand in his time in the Wyoming legislature and support for Wyoming's energy industries.
