Winter Weather To Return To Southeast Wyoming This Weekend
While the weather for southeast Wyoming looks nice for today [March 22] and into Saturday, winter weather is expected to make a return on Sunday, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on its Facebook page:
Friday- Another warm day expected with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Clouds continue to increase in coverage towards the end of the day and into the overnight hours.
Saturday- Spring-like temperatures for much of the area prior to a cold front moving through. Snow develops west of I-25 with rain showers east of I-25.
Sunday- Much colder after the cold front passes overhead. Remaining rain showers transition to snow for the area. Minimal accumulations expected for the lower-elevations with more snow likely in the mountains.
