Although the heaviest accumulations will likely be at higher elevations, forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service are expecting snow across southeast Wyoming and parts of the Nebraska Panhandle through Thursday.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Wednesday:

"Winter isn't done with southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle just yet. Snow is likely Wednesday into Thursday, though the main impacts will be to visibility. Snow will struggle to accumulate on roads due to warm surface temperatures."
