Monsoonal Rains Expected In SE Wyoming This Week
Forecasters are predicting somewhat cooler, wetter weather in southeast Wyoming over the next few days as monsoonal moisture makes its presence felt.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
Monsoonal moisture has returned to the area this week, bringing an end to the hot and bone dry weather pattern that dominated last week. ⛈️ Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms will be present through the week ahead. The best chance for rainfall will be on Wednesday and Friday. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible. 🌡️ Temperatures will be overall near average for this time of year, tilting slightly on the warm side for Thursday and Friday, and then tilting cooler for the weekend into Monday.
