Midweek temperatures in southeast Wyoming have been a balmy 70 degrees or so the past couple of days.

But that is about to change, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The agency posted the following on its website: While we are getting a taste of early summer today, the calendar still says March, and the weather will look more like it this weekend. Two rounds of precipitation are expected: first mainly rain showers Friday night, followed by another round of rain mixing with and changing over to snow Saturday night into Sunday. Snow accumulation, if any, is still uncertain so be sure to check back in with us in the coming days.
