Very Hot Temperatures Expected In SE Wyoming Today
A blast of summer heat is expected across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle today, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
Highs in some areas of both regions could top out well over 90 degrees. That may not be a heat wave in Arizona, but it is in this part of the country.
The agency posted the following on its website for the rest of the week:
Here's the weather forecast for southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle through the beginning of next week. Temperatures will continue to rise through Friday . Could see the century mark in the Panhandle, with upper 80s/low 90s in southeast Wyoming Friday afternoon, in terms of highs. Monsoon moisture still on track to return to the area, with increasing chances for afternoon and evening showers and storms. This unsettled weather expected to continue through the weekend into next week. With the higher humidity, overnight lows are expected to remain high, so warm and muggy conditions look to continue. Stay tuned!
