Blood is a very valuable commodity, especially if you are the one in need. There are many men and women who are suffering from the results of foreign wars, like Afghanistan and Iraq in particular.

Now you can help those in need by donating blood through the Cheyenne United Blood Services. It is going to help "Fallen Hero's", a group that has helped close to 20 million families of those from our Armed Forces.

Our veterans and active duty military personnel have done a lot for us. Now is our chance to do something great for them.

The event takes place on Thursday, September 11 from 1-6 p.m. at United Blood Services located at 112 E Eighth Street in Cheyenne. Appointments are strongly recommended, but they will allow for walk-ins. Donors must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 110 pounds. FREE T-shirts will be received while supplies last.
