Yellowstone Surgery Center and Cheyenne Surgical Center have announced a merger to form High Plains Surgery Center, according to Bob Thorn, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He says the new center will provide will provide a wide range of surgical services, ranging from dentistry to  podiatry to general surgery as well as many other areas. A press release from CRMC says the combination of the two centers will increase efficiency. lower service duplication, ensure access and generally improve the quality of local healthcare.

The new facility will be located in the second floor of the medical office building at CRMC. Thorn says the new center should be up and running sometime this spring. In the meantime both centers remain open in their existing locations.
