Cheyenne is filled with veterans and, unfortunately, many of them live with PTSD. So, if you have a beard or mustache, you'll be able to raise funds to help them.

Dogs and Tags of Wyoming, which is a non-profit (501c3), is holding an event on Saturday, June 11, 2016 to help raise money to provide disabled veterans with service dogs that will help aid them and make life easier and safer for them.

The 'Beard and Mustache' Competition is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Asher Building and Coffee Depot, located at 500 W. 15th St. in Cheyenne.

Open Registration is a 4 p.m. for the Beard and Mustache Competition, which includes the categories of full natural, short natural, full styled, short styled, freestyle, chops, goatee. There is also a women's category and kids can build a beard.

The money raised will help veterans who live with PTSD obtain a service dog. Whether you have a beard or not, come and join this the event.
