A spring snowstorm has prompted the Laramie County School District #1 to close schools early Wednesday (Aril 10).

In a state to parents the district said schools will close at 11:15 AM for Jr and High Schools, and 12:15 Pm for elementary. Busses will run accordingly.

Any decision about Thursday's classes will be announced by 6:00 AM Thursday Morning, they said.

Due to predicted hazardous blizzard conditions, the district will be releasing students early. Junior High and High School students will be released at 11:15 a.m. Elementary students will be released at 12:15 p.m. Elementary students that walk to school will be released to walk home at 12:15 p.m. Parents wishing to pick up their students need to be at the school prior to release time or contact the school to make arrangements. Buses will be running earlier and will be dropping students off at their regular stops. All school functions scheduled for April 10th are canceled.
