State, U.S. Flags To Be Flown At Half-Staff To Honor Stevens
In response to a proclamation from President Trump, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has ordered both the State of Wyoming and the United States flags to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, July 23, in honor of retired Associate Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.
Stevens passed away on July 16, 2019. He served on the nation's highest court from 1975 until his retirement in 2010.
Governor Gordon's order covers the period from 12 a.m. until sunset tomorrow.
