Old man winter has a little bit of life left in him after all. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that includes the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie through Wednesday (May 1).

Several inches of snow are possible with this system, making travel difficult, especially Monday night into Tuesday. (Full details below)

Central Laramie County including the City of Cheyenne have been upgraded to a winter storm warning until noon Wednesday. Expect periods of heavy snow and total accumulations through Tuesday morning of 5 to 10 inches. Give yourself time Tuesday morning as commutes will be messy and slow due to recent snowfall and slick roadways. A lull is expected for snowfall on Tuesday with another chance Tuesday night into Wednesday morning of 1-3 additional inches of snow. - NWS
