Cheyenne NWS: 85 MPH Winds Possible In SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming could see winds gusting as high as 85 miles per hour over the next day or so.
The agency posted the following on its website:
"While we do have ongoing high wind warnings for our usual wind prone locations today, Tuesday the 16th, a more widespread high wind event is expected tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th, including most of southeast Wyoming and potentially overspreading into the Nebraska Panhandle. Widespread winds around 60-80 mph are expected, but the northern Laramie range could see speeds in excess of 85 mph."
