Southeast Wyoming Expecting Cooler, Wetter Weekend, Chance Of Storms Friday
Southeast Wyoming can expect the recent hot weather to cool over the next few days, with rainier weather also expected.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
There is also a chance of severe storms in some area today, possibly including hail and strong winds. Cheyenne is right on the edge of the area with a higher chance of storms, while Laramie is less likely to see severe weather.
The agency posted the following on it's website on Friday:
There's a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The main threats if thunderstorms do develop are winds between 60-70mph and hail sized up to quarters. Most favorable area for thunderstorms right now looks to be the Northern portion of our Forecast area.
