Severe Storms With Strong Winds, Hail Possible In Parts Of SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says some areas of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see strong winds, heavy rain and small hail.
That's according to a post on the agency's website:
Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon across southeast Wyoming with a Slight Risk (Level 2/5) of severe thunderstorms across portions of the Nebraska Panhandle capable of producing hail and strong wind gusts. Frequent lightning and moderate to briefly heavy rainfall will be possible as well. Thunderstorms will develop early this afternoon along the Laramie Range west of Cheyenne/Wheatland with additional storm development around 3 PM near the Nebraska-Wyoming border. Storms will continue through 9 PM this evening.
