SE Wyoming Expecting Temperatures In the 70s, High Fire Danger

Forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service are predicting a warm. dry week ahead in southeast Wyoming.

But on the downside, we are also looking at a high fire

The agency posted the following on its website:

Warm and (mostly) dry weather will be the theme of the week ahead. Well above average temperatures are expected through the week, and highs may approach daily records by Friday and Saturday. The only hiccup to the warming trend will be a weak storm system passing to the north mid week. This will bring increased winds along with a few isolated showers and/or thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly to the mountains and the US-20 corridor. Expect high fire danger throughout the week.
