Rain, Snow In SE Wyoming Ahead Of Warm Weather This Weekend
It looks like a couple of more days of wet weather are in the forecast for Southeast Wyoming residents through Thursday, ahead of much warmer weather over the weekend.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
Rain will be likely across the majority of the area on Wednesday and Thursday with some snow mixed in at higher elevations above 7000ft. A few isolated thunderstorms also cannot be ruled out on Thursday. However, the bigger change is coming this weekend with temperatures finally warming up to the 60s and 70s and a break from the strong winds.
High Winds continue through this afternoon, followed by snow showers along and west of the Laramie Range tonight into tomorrow morning. Highest snowfall amounts expected along northern slopes, especially the North Laramie Range & northern foothills of the Snowy Range between Laramie & Rawlins.
