"I sincerely thank each and every student, staff member and family member for wearing their mask," Superintendent Dr. Margaret Crespo said in an update posted on the district's website Thursday.

"We absolutely recognize that these are challenging times," she added. "Our goal is to stay in school for in-person learning and I am confident that working together for the health and safety of our students and staff we can do it."

As of Thursday, Laramie County had 242 lab-confirmed active COVID-19 cases, according to the Wyoming Department of Health.
