No Veteran Should Face Homelessness In Cheyenne
We have seen them walk the streets, on your way to your car or sleeping under a tree. This is the story of veterans everywhere across the nation, in Wyoming and in Cheyenne.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Chad Werner who is the Resource Housing Specialist with the Southwest- Wyoming Recovery Access Program (SW-WRAP). He is seeking help from restaurant owners, apartment managers and anyone else who may be able to help house veterans under a crisis situation.
Their main goal is to end and prevent homelessness amongst our homeless heroes. Although their main goal is housing stability, their case workers also provide sufficient resources to match identified needs, and integrate services with community resources.
