Walk down any aisle in a store, anywhere in Wyoming, and you'll be overwhelmed with choices. Chips, snack cakes, soups, frozen pizza, lunch meats, you name it, there are lots of choices.

Choices aren't a bad thing, until you're tasked with deciding on something new.

On a recent trip to the store, to get stocked up, I decided it was time for a change of body soap. I'll admit, I'm a huge creature of habit. When I find something I like, I'll stick with it, likely not to stray far from the comfort zone. For years I've been using a Dove for men Gel and decided to go old school and get use a bar soap.

Zest was always the bar soap I had growing up, I didn't really choose it, but it was there and I used it. Until I was in my 20's and Axe, Old Spice and Dove for Men came out, I still used Zest. So, that's where I decided to go, back old school to Zest.

The decision to change something, like soap, can be wild because of all the choices. The soap aisle has more options than almost any other aisle in the building. You could spend an hour searching for a new soap and that's just crazy.

Before 2003, men's body wash wasn't really a thing and according to reports, bar soap sales dropped 40% in favor of body wash. When you go into the store and look now, there are shelves full of body wash and a small section dedicated to bar soap.

There are lots of people who have decided to start making their own soap, or companies have decided to make their own line of soap. You can find a wide variety of homemade soap choices that are directed at different personality types too.

Call me old school, call me Grumpy Old Man, but do we really need all of these soap choices? Are you a creature of habit and stick with the same kind of soap? What soap is your go to?
