So you got a new ATV, Side x Side, Dirt Bike, or other off-road vehicle, and you're ready to get it dirty. You want to go somewhere that gives you different scenarios, so you can put your new toy to work.

So where do you go?

Wyoming is packed full of trails, roads, and off-road opportunities, like the Poison Spider OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) Park. The park is just 9.5 miles southwest of Highway 20/.26 on Poison Spider Road.

The park is easily accessible, even with a large trailer full of toys. The large parking lot makes it easy to maneuver your rig, as well as unload and load. Or, if you've got yours registered, cruise on out, it's a smooth ride.

There are nearly 300 acres of trails throughout the site of an old bentonite mine. It's free to access, all you'll need is your ORV sticker, which you can get from places like Rocky Mountain Discount Sports, or online from the Wyo State Parks website.

When you arrive, you can tell there have been many good times on the trails. There's a picnic area and vault toilets on the premises, meaning you can spend the whole day there if you'd like.

The only thing that could keep you from riding all day is your fuel situation. There are no gas stations, so be sure to fuel up before heading out and bring extra fuel in case you need to stop and refuel.

BLM, Wyoming State Parks, and the US Forest Service all offer great riding opportunities. If you want to find more trails to ride, I suggest downloading their apps and maps.
