Casper's Mike Lansing Field is turning into a makeshift beer garden on June 28. The Casper Brewers Festival is going on before the Casper Spuds take on the Fremont Moo.

Beer and baseball, does it get any better than that?

Here's how the day will play out. The Brewers Festival will go from 2 to 6 pm, giving you a chance to sample beers from some of Wyoming's premier breweries. While you're sampling, live music will be playing. Then the Spuds will take the field at 6:30 pm. Your ticket will include unlimited beer sampling and the Spuds game.

Even if you're not a beer drinker, you can check out the festivities and enjoy a day at the ballpark.

The list of breweries that have already confirmed is quite impressive.

If you're planning to attend the Brewers Festival from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, tickets are $35. If you're going to watch the Spud and Moo play at 6:30 and not sample the incredible selection of Wyoming-brewed beers, tickets are $10. You can buy your tickets in advance at SpudsBaseball.com, or they will be available at the gate on the day of the event.

To get to Mike Lansing Field, take Poplar St. and head north of I-25 in Casper.
