Some of the highlights include:

-In the Republican Primary Election for Wyoming House District 41, challenger Erin Edwards has toppled incumbent Gary Brown by a margin of 1,185 votes to 456. -In the Ward I Cheyenne City Council, Maren Kallas led all vote-getters with 792 votes, while Rhianna Brand qualified for the November ballot by finishing second with 482 votes. The top two candidates advance to vie for the open seat on the council

-In Ward 2, Janelle Rose and Lynn Storey-Huylar advance to November. Rose got 2,987 votes, while Storey-Huylar garnered 1,953

-In Ward 3, Incumbent Ken Esquibel will defend his seat against challenger Bill Bryant. Esquibel got 1,953 votes to Bryant's 972.

-In the race for the Laramie County Commission, incumbents Troy Thompson and Gunnar Malm were victorious. But Incumbent Linda Heath finished fourth in the GOP primary, trailing Jess Ketcham for the third and final Republican nomination. Ketcham is the son of a former commissioner, Jeff Ketcham.

Former commissioner M. Lee Hasneauer, who campaigned heavily on the data center issue, finished fifth.

-A couple of other Freedom Caucus incmbents besides Brown went down to defeat,. They were Ann Lucas, who lost to Jessica Crowder in House District 41 and Steve Johnson, who was ousted by Luke Reiner in the GOP Primary for House District 8.

And incumbent Sheriff Brian Kozak defeated challenger Eric Norris in the GOP Primary for that office. Kozak will face Democrat Robin Cozad in November.
