It’s Now Summer And Snow Is Expected In Parts Of SE Wyoming
Today may officially be the first day of summer, but the weather forecast for southeast Wyoming still includes a touch of winter, at least at some higher elevations.
According to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service, most of the region can expect a wet, rainy weekend. But at some higher elevations, snow is in the forecast. The agency posted this forecast on its website on Friday:
''Well below normal temperatures today and Saturday with generally cloudy conditions and periods of rain and drizzle. There will be some light snow accumulations above 9000 feet today and Saturday. Please be careful if going to the high terrain this weekend as some roads will be slick and icy."
