The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says temperatures will be calling somewhat over the next few days, with increasing chances of afternoon and evening storms.

The agency posted the following on its website:

Storm chances will be on the rise Wednesday across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle. A Marginal Risk area for severe thunderstorms has been identified for much of the Nebraska Panhandle into extreme southeast Wyoming for tomorrow afternoon into the early evening hours. Just about everyone could see a thunderstorm or two Wednesday. It will be warm, with afternoon highs ranging from 83 at Arlington to 100 at Bridgeport. Stay tuned!

A more active weather pattern upcoming as moisture from the southwest begins moving into the area. Look for daily chances for afternoon and evening storms for just about everyone across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle. Better chances for afternoon/evening severe storms east of Interstate 25 Thursday and Friday this week. Keep an eye on the forecast. We'll keep you updated!
